The Forum will resume, indoor and outdoor offerings, at an appropriate time in accordance with NSW Public Heath orders and restrictions.
Thank you for your patience and support.
A purpose built cycling studio with the latest in Life Fitness IC7 Bike technology. Listen to the music as your Forum Instructor takes you on a journey
of hill climbs, sprints and flat riding, while burning calories and improving your fitness. The large glass walls and windows emit great natural
light and the sea breeze creates an experience of outdoor cycling without the uncertainty of the weather.
The Forum has its very own Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) who is registered with Dietitian’s Association of Australia (DAA) to provide nutritional
assessments for a range of individual needs.
What is an Accredited Practising Dietitian?
An APD has gained a nationally recognised university qualification that allows them to help individuals and groups understand the relationship between
food and health. APDs undertake ongoing education and training to ensure the most up to date knowledge is obtained. APDs are trained to assess nutrition
needs of individuals and groups, they can also assist people in the management of medical and health conditions using Medical Nutrition Therapy.
What is the difference between a Dietitian and a Nutritionist?
In Australia all APD’s are also Accredited Nutritionist, however NOT all nutritionists are dietitians. The key difference is that a dietitian has undertaken
a course of study that includes extensive theory, supervised & assessed professional practice in clinical nutrition, medical nutrition therapy
and food service management.
Our Dietitian can provide dietetic services on a range of topics and conditions
APD’s have extensive knowledge and consulting with a Dietitian can provide you with an array of health benefits and advice on:
- Weight Loss / Gain
- Diabetes
- Gastrointestinal Conditions (IBS, constipation, reflux, diarrhoea)
- High Blood Pressure
- General Healthy Eating
- Sports Nutrition
- Improving energy.
