JUST START PROGRAM
Congratulations on taking the first step to feeling better.
The hardest part isn’t starting. Sometimes, the hardest part is finding the motivation to keep going.
The JUST START program will focus on Strength, and Consistency.
NUsport’s qualified fitness professionals are here to guide you through your workouts and be your own personal cheer squad. This program is not about pushing your limits but developing your confidence in the gym and building your base level of fitness.
The program will run out of The Forum Sports & Aquatic Centre, Callaghan.
The JUST START program includes:
- Committed 6-week movement block, 20 February to 2 April 2023
- Orientation session including:
- Goal setting
- Body composition scan
- Basic fitness testing
- Gym and Movement personalised program across the 6-week block
- Coached, supported, and guided 30-minute lunch time sessions:
- Monday to Friday 12pm
- Weekly check ins with your program Coach
- Full access to NUsport At The Forum, Callaghan and The Forum, Honeysuckle.

MEET YOUR LEAD
TRAINER - JOE
NUsport's very own Gym and Personal Training Manager will be leading the way for the JUST START Challenge, helping you to start or continue your fitness journey.
Joe is an ASCA certified Strength and Conditioning coach currently undertaking a Bachelor in Exercise and Sports Science.
He has trained people from a wide range of fitness levels and seen improvements in not only strength and fitness, but in confidence and mental outlook.
